After enabling Remote Desktop Connection, you need to note down the name of your computer.
You will be required to enter Computer Name while trying to connect to this computer from another computer.
1. Right-click on Start and click on System.
2. On the System screen, scroll down and note down the Name of your computer.
Note: You can also connect to Remote Desktop using the IP Address of your computer.
2. Enable Remote Desktop Connection Using Run Command
Another way to Enable Remote Desktop connection is by going to System Properties screen using the Run Command.
1. Right-click on the Start and click on Run.
2. In Run Command window, type SystemPropertiesAdvanced and click on OK.
3. On System Properties screen, select the Remote tab > check Allow Remote connections to this computer option and click on Apply and OK.
4. You may be prompted to change the Sleep Settings on your computer, so that your computer never goes to sleep.

1. Open Control Panel on your computer.
2. On the Control Panel screen, switch to “Category” View and click on System and Security.
3. On System and Security Screen, click on Allow Remote Access option.
4. On the next screen, select Allow Remote connections to this computer option.

Disable Remote Desktop Connection
